Pollini's Pizza Slice

Pollini's Pizza Slice in Leeds Kirkgate Market is hands-down the best pizza in Leeds! The crust is perfectly crispy, the toppings are fresh, and the flavors are out of this world. On top of that, the service is exceptional—super friendly, quick, and always with a smile. My visit on May 17, 2025, was an absolute 10/10, thanks to the amazing staff who made it such a great experience. Highly recommend grabbing a slice (or three) from Pollini's!

This has been our favourite place to get pizza since I discovered it around a year ago. The staff are always friendly so the service is always great. They have now added some new things to the menu so i thought i would give an updated review. They have a loyalty card which gives you a free slice once you collect 10 stamps (one stamp per slice) we must have had 40 slices by now because their pizza is so good. They always have a wide selection catering to every palette, I have tried many of them and have never been disappointed. Today we were given some free cannoli - they have many flavours including chocolate, vanilla and pistachio and they were absolutely delicious. They have also added giant arancini balls which I first tried in Rome and make myself often so I was excited to try them and they went beyond my expectations. They are huge and very filling and they have a selection of flavours such as beef ragu, mushroom and truffle, one with pesto and i think two other flavours. I had the mushroom and truffle and demolished it along with a slice of salami pizza. My partner had two slices of Mexicana which is a staple for him. I can't recommend this place enough, the atmosphere is also very cosy and tucked away from the main food court in kirkgate market. Very authentically Italian and i noticed they have added alcoholic options to drink. Prices are also very reasonable as the portions are always huge. If you haven't tried this place you definetly should. Thank you for always delivering top food and service!

I've walked pass many times but didn't realise it was halal until I looked up close at the pizzas wondering which one I should devour. I got a Margareta today and I really enjoyed it flavoursome sauce nice crispy base, it was reheated but still tasted fresh and the cheese pull was satisfying. The slices are huge so good value for money for a £3-4 filling lunch. I will be back to try other pizzas.

Pizza is fantastic, large slices and good pizza sauce. When you put the chilli flakes on their slices, elevates it to perfection. It's quite popular and there's usually a queue, only negative thing to say is they used to have more seating but reduced which is a shame since it's always taken due to how good it is.

Delicious pizza. Good choice for simple and quick meal. You can order either one slice for trial, or you can order a set of two pizza slices and two drinks (£7.5). It is very good choice for a little lunch for young people dating. Yes it is also a perfect choice for a mother to feed two monster children. It is located near the end of fish row, next to the volunteer work tank. The entrance in the photo is the entrance of new york street (Not kirkgate street), opposite to the post office. Some seats and tables are provided nearby, or just take it to the food court. A few step very close.

Absolutely the best pizza I've had; great selection, nice thin & crispy base, pizza sauce is delicious, and the cheese is luvly and stringy. They also warm up the slices, so you always have a hot slice Staff are friendly and polite, there is also a few little seats and tables. They also have a loyalty card, which I was very excited to get, as I think I'll be making good use of it I noticed online the menu pictures weren't great, so I took some more and hope they are a bit clearer. Would highly and extremely recommend if you are in the area, and even worth a trip just for it (I'm roughly 20miles away)

A nice little pizza-by-the-slice eatery situated in the Leeds Market. Plenty of people queuing up for their fresh slice with plenty more adding to queue as I joined. There’s plenty of choice and the pizzas are there in view as you queue up, allowing you to umm and ahh at your decision. As I was queuing, they came out with a fresh pepperoni pizza, which cemented many people’s indecisions! We opted for the pepperoni and chicken tikka with jalapeños. The pizza slice was large (like a slice from a 20”), with a crusty base and stone baked crust. Sauce had a sweetness to the tomato and the cheese had a very nice pull to it. They have limited seating, we managed to sit by a window of theirs which they had fabricated into a little Italy of sorts. Ultimately though, you’re sat amongst the comings and goings of the people of Leeds Market. Highly recommend if you are peckish for a slice of pizza whilst out shopping in Leeds.
